Our journey began in 2009, when a small group of six friends came together with a simple but powerful idea—use our time, talents, and passion to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children battling life‑threatening illnesses.
What started as a modest effort has since grown into a committed team of about twelve volunteers, all working year‑round to champion a cause that continues to inspire us.
Every year, we set a bold goal: Raise at least $250,000 for St. Jude.
And every year, thanks to the generosity of our community and the dedication of our volunteers, we strive to meet and exceed that goal. To make this possible, we host two major fundraising events:

We’re just a group of friends from Poplar Bluff who believe that no family should have to choose between their child’s life and a medical bill.
Everything we do—from fundraisers to events to late-night planning sessions—has one purpose: supporting the life-saving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. When kids fight cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, they shouldn’t have to fight financial fear too.
We show up because hope deserves backup. And we rally our town, our neighbors, and our friends because we believe small communities can make a big impact. This is our way of turning friendship into action, and action into hope!

Year after year, Poplar Bluff Heroes ranks among the top St. Jude fundraising teams in the nation—and together, our community has raised over $2,000,000 to support life-saving research and care.
Because of supporters like you, childhood cancer survival rates have climbed dramatically—rising from around 80% in 2009 to more than 85% today. That progress represents more birthdays, more graduations, and more kids growing up to live full lives.
Every dollar raised helps St. Jude push those numbers higher. Every event, every donation, every person who shows up moves hope forward.

It is our honor to be able to once again sponsor the Annual St. Jude VIP Banquet in Poplar Bluff, MO for their ninth annual event. Our Poplar Bluff team had a fantastic time participating in the raffles and silent auction at the banquet and are amazed to see how much this event has grown over the years. Proceeds from the banquet support St. Jude's mission to treat children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
